My girlfriend Laurie buys at least one lottery ticket every month. She says paying $11 for the chance to win millions is just too good to pass up. Her lotto motto is “someone has to win, and it might be me.” She holds out hope, even though her actual odds of winning are 1 in 28,633,528.
